What is a UFO?
A UFO, an Unidentified Flying Object, is any object or
light,
reportedly sighted in the sky, which cannot be immediately
explained.
Seeing unexplained phenomena in the sky dates back to ancient times, but UFOs (sometimes called flying saucers) became widely discussed only after the first widely publicized U.S. sighting in 1947. Many thousands of such observations have since been reported.
At least 90 percent of all UFO are merely conventional objects, such as bright planets and stars, aircraft, birds, balloons, kites, aerial flares, peculiar clouds, meteors, and satellites. The remaining sightings can most likely be attributed to wishful thinking, hoaxes, or delusions, although it’s impossible to disprove all claims.
There is always a chance, however, that there is more to these stories. What does the government know about life on another planets? We would like to explore the subjects of UFOs, aliens, extraterrestrials, flying saucers, paranormal activity and UFO conspiracy theories, as well as NASA cover-ups in this section.
From 1947 to 1969 the U.S. Air Force investigated UFOs as a possible threat to national security. A total of 12,618 reports were received, of which 5.6 percent, were unexplained. The conclusion was made that "no UFO reported, investigated, and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of threat to our national security." Since then, no government agency has been known to investigate the UFO phenomena.
Was this project truly closed? Will we ever know what was found?
In 1997 the CIA admitted that the U.S. military had deceived the American public about high-altitude spy planes,
and it has also been disclosed by various military sources and government officials that UFOs have been the subject of secret ongoing study.
There has been intense secrecy surrounding UFOS, while our tax dollars are being used for attempts at replicating found alien technology. Why this denial and secrecy? Who is making the decisions in codename projects such as AREA 51, ROSWELL, PROJECT BLUE, SCANATE, SUN STREAK, CENTER LANE, GRELL FLAME AND STAR GATE? Is it NASA, CIA, or other organizations?
