Rebecca Thurmond, the author of A New World Disorder, was born and raised in Midwest. Surrounded by nature and animals, she grew up to question and inquire about everything around her. She was not content with waiting for an answer to come from the skies, and felt led by open doors into many adventures in her search for unanswered questions. Always doubting authority, always able to see both sides of controversy, and realizing the value of taking risks helped her gain the knowledge and experience she shares through her book and this website. Rebecca’s first book is based on her many trips to Central and South America, Asia, and Europe as a part of many humanitarian aide projects. Hundreds of children have found loving homes through her agency.

She has witnessed grief, despair, and hope firsthand, while carefully observing the back room dealings of the businessmen and the government around her. Rebecca shares these adventures through fiction written about fact.

Rebecca spent a decade working abroad collecting donations for medical supplies and equipment and getting these supplies out to the people in need. Dozens of children came to the USA under a medical visa program organized and ran by her. These children received care and surgeries and were then reunited with their families after life-altering treatments. On many occasions she was faced with the harsh reality of bartering prices for saving a life, and witness acts of extreme sacrifice and kindness. Rebecca is currently working on a second book about physical, emotional, and sexual abuse of children, as well as the organ stealing myth and reality in Central America.

Rebecca has been a student of metaphysics for more than 20 years, studying topics such as numerology, astrology, tarot, spirit guides, channeling, meditation, past life readings, yoga, and dream interpretation.

She is a mother of three biological and five adopted children. She lives in South Florida, working on her books while enjoying the mild climate. She hopes you will purchase her book and enjoy the reading.
